What is a Co-Ferment and what is the difference?
A Co-Ferment is a coffee bean that undergoes a special fermentation process after being removed from the fruit. During this stage, the beans are fermented together with fruits or other ingredients for anywhere from 24 hours to 4 days. This unique process enhances the coffee's flavour profile, resulting in a richer, more complex, and bolder taste compared to beans processed using the traditional natural or washed methods. In short, it really does taste like what it says it does.
